Children's Birdhouse, Bug House, & Greenhouse Painting Event
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity in our warm greenhouse! Our Children's Birdhouse, Bug House & Greenhouse Painting Event is perfect for little artists who love nature. Let their imagination soar as they paint their own birdhouse, bug house, or greenhouse. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity for children to express their artistic talents while fostering their appreciation of our feathered friends, crawly creatures, and the plants around us. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent to you so you can choose a Birdhouse, Bug House, or Greenhouse. If tickets are purchased after 1/11/25, selections will be based on availability.

Paint Your Pet's Portrait
Whether you are looking for a fun date or just want to paint your favorite fluffy companion, join us at Piedmont Feed and Garden for an afternoon of pawsome fun as we paint our pets. After registering, you'll send your photos in and have Studiotails sketch your sweet floofer on your canvas. All pets are welcome, from fish to furry and feathered.
A picture of your pet must be submitted in advance so that Emily has time to sketch your pet on canvas for you to paint. Instructions on how to send this photo will be emailed to you after your registration payment confirmation email is delivered.

Meet the artist:
Emily is a local artist, live wedding painter, author, and owner of a small business named StudioTails. From large paintings to small ink prints, Emily always has a piece of art in progress. Her business is focused on capturing life's big moments and commemorating loved ones (whether they are pawed, two-legged, or feathered.) Aside from her artwork, she is a new mother to a lovely little one, a wrangler to a flock of errant chickens, and an inspired gardener.

Birds of Prey for Father's Day
Meet the animal ambassadors at Raptor Insights! Learn about hawks, falcons, and owls, see their local birds of prey up close, and discover new and exotic raptor species!
This is a floating event where various animal ambassadors will be out and around the garden center from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This event is free of charge, and no ticket or registration is required. Donations will be accepted through the PayPal link below and at the event. All donations go directly to Raptor Insights of North Carolina.
